Challenger Bank One-Piece Spinning Rods
- 691UL (Ultra Light) and 701L (Light) Rods: These rods are perfect for anglers who enjoy fast action with a sensitive tip. They have been proven effective for blackfish, fluke, striped bass, and sea bass. Many anglers have approved these rods for their reliability and performance with light bucktails.
- The UL comes in 6’9” and 7’, and the L comes in 7’ and 8’.
Challenger Bank 731M (Medium) Conventional / Spiral Rod
- This rod can handle a 10oz sinker with ease, making it excellent for bait fishing with heavier sinkers. It offers more backbone than the 691UL and 701L while maintaining sensitivity. Ideal for those who prefer fast action with added strength, this versatile inshore conventional rod is a favorite among many.
- The M comes in 7’3” and 8’.
Charter Special Slow Pitch Rods
- 68/H3R Spinning / Conventional / Spiral Rods: If you prefer moderate fast action with more flex, these rods are great for sea bass, fluke, striped bass, and blackfish. They are also an economical choice in our series. Tested with 10+oz sinkers and baits, they have even handled 100+lb halibut with a 10oz jig in Alaska, and also massive tuna with the same rod (see the videos below).
- We also have 73MH Model with the length 7’3”. It’s heavier version of the 68/H3R. If you like the rod with more backbone, then this is the one.
Cape Cod Special Slow Pitch Rods
- B-632H2MF, B-662HMF Conventional Rods, and S-662H2MF Spinning Rod: Known as the “fluke to tuna rod,” these versatile rods offer moderate action with a sensitive tip and strong backbone. They have been tested with 10+oz sinkers, light bucktails for fluke and blackfish, and are well-regarded for catching striped bass, red snapper, grouper, 100+lb halibut, and 100lb Yellowfin Tuna.

Challenger Bank III Travel Series
- 3pc 763M (Medium) and 703UL (Ultra Light) Rods: These new travel versions of our popular Challenger Bank rods feel like solid one-piece rods but offer the convenience of a three-piece design. They have a slightly more moderate action compared to the one-piece series. The 763M has been tested with 12oz sinkers and has proven effective for blackfish, bluefish, striped bass, and red snapper. The 703UL is excellent for both freshwater and saltwater fishing, handling species like bass, pickerel, trout, and blackfish.
Tai Special Rod
- This is our lightest and thinnest rod, perfect for those who enjoy super light tackle. It’s a favorite among experienced anglers for black fishing.
Alloy Jigger Nano Slow Pitch Jigging Rods
- Crafted with certified NanoAlloy carbon from Toray, this rod features a super sensitive tip and enormous lifting power. Dubbed “The Almighty Spaghetti Rod” by Prostaff Capt. Jimmy, it offers moderate fast action with incredible sensitivity and power. Ideal for fluke and blackfish, the 350g rod even landed a tuna! Blanks available now; factory-built rods expected this fall.
11’ Surf II Heavy Surf Rod
- Ideal for fishing tautog from the shore in strong currents, this rod has been proven by many anglers to handle giant striped bass, drum, tuna, and GT. It offers a strong backbone to cast and hold against the current and fish.
- They come in 10’, 11’, 12’, and 13’ in Regular and Heavy Models.
East Coast Special Medium Surf Rod
- With a more moderate action than the Surf II series, this rod offers a 50:50 split with moderate fast action. It’s versatile for medium surf fishing and has been used successfully for striped bass, snook, drum, rooster fish, GT, and blackfish.
- They come in 10’, 11’, 12’ in Light and Medium Models.
