Yellowtail on the travel stick. I won’t lie, I was slightly nervous when I hooked this fish on the travel set up, casting a small subsurface stickbait in shallow water at the islands. Turns out, shouldn’t have been worried. We’ve had a lot of questions about how this rod performs with smaller sport fish, and brief, drama-free nature of this fight put any doubts to rest. 32 inches and some overhead cabin space is all you need to make a trip happen.
