The 7’6" model, featured in the video, has been customized by trimming 1" from the bottom and adding a tip guide, making it an ideal Tuna Popping Rod while preserving its 7’6" stature. Modify it to your liking, even down to 7’, for a perfect fit as a West Coast tuna rail rod, or full length as conventional/spiral rod as a tilefish rod.

As showcased in the video, the Giant Flex features a soft tip paired with a sturdy backbone, offering superior control over your lure and ample strength to land your catch comfortably, without straining your back.

Our 6’ Giant Flex is a marvel of versatility, ready to be transformed into a variety of fishing rods. Whether you prefer jigging rods in conventional, spiral, or spinning configurations for Tuna, or a robust trolling rod with roller guides and a bent butt for swordfish and tuna in the canyon, the 6’ Giant Flex has been field-tested in the West Coast and Panama, proving its mettle against formidable Bluefin and Yellowfin Tunas.
