Depends on what species they are targeting. It will fit on it and you could get away with it. The Lexa 300 is a little better size-wise and will handle all inshore species with that rod. If they are fishing deeper water or for smaller tuna a Lexa 400 would work but would recommend the Challenger Bank to be a better fit for the Lexa 400.
